Horning Farms Online Feeder Calf Sale Info
Holstein Feeder Calves
- 5-11 days old
- Dehorned with dehorning paste.
- Vaccinated with Inforce-3 nasal vaccine.
- Weighed Tuesday/ Wednesday before the sale
- Newborn calves fed 1 gallon of high-quality colostrum and navels are dipped with 7% iodine.
- Calves are fed pasteurized milk and trained to eat from a pail.
Sale Information
- Calves will be sold by the head, not by weight
- Payments can be processed online through the "Winning Bid" email notification. We will also accept cash, check, or card (with a 3% service fee) on the day of pickup.
Online Sale Weekly Timeline:
- Tuesday/Wednesday before sale:
- Animals will be weighed, photographed, and posted; sales will be open at this point.

WEDNESDAY before sale:
- Appointments available to see calves in person from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

- Online sale will close at 7:00 pm
- Saturday – pick up.
- Calf pick up appointments are available from 9:00 am to 11:00 am or 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
