Our farm was founded in 1877, and we are proud to have the sixth generation helping run the dairy. On our farm we raise mostly Holstein cattle, producing high-quality Michigan dairy and beef products.
Everything we do to care for our animals contributes to the nutrient-rich food products we produce on our farm. Animal comfort is our top priority. Our cows enjoy soft sand bedding, receive top-notch medical care, and have 24/7 access to a nutritious diet and fresh water.
We live on the land that we farm, and we’re nestled across the road from a lake where both we and our community members enjoy recreational activities. We understand the importance of protecting our natural resources; we depend on the land for our business and quality of life, and take this responsibility very seriously. We are constantly evaluating new and progressive technologies that are aimed at conserving natural resources and protecting the environment.
Our family milks approximately 400 cows, and we raise crops on 800 acres. We milk our cows twice a day, every day, and we take pride in not only providing the highest level of care and comfort to our animals, but also the highest quality milk to our community.
The farm is MAEAP (Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program) certified, a voluntary program that certifies farms if they are following best practices to care for the environment.
