If you want to purchase more than a quarter, please add the quantity you desire in quarter beef increments. Butcher fees are set by and charged by the processor. Dunbar Meat Packing Co. is charging approximately $0.80 per pound hanging weight for custom-cut halves and wholes. Standard cuts for quarters, halves, and wholes are discounted at $0.03. The standard cut sheet and custom cutting options are pictured. Hanging weights can vary; we are averaging 850 pounds for a whole beef.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"255\" data-end=\"510\" class=\"\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe Process of Buying Freezer Beef\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e1. Horning Farms will deliver the beef to the butcher for the date listed above.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e2. We will receive the hanging weight of the animal within 2-3 days and will invoice for the beef (less the down payment). We require payment in full before the meat is picked-up.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e3. Your beef will hang in the freezer at Dunbar Meat Packing Co for approximately 3-4 weeks. During this time, Dunbar Meat Packing Co will reach out to you for cutting instrucitons.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e4. Once the beef is cut, Dunbar Meat Packing Co will reach out that your beef is ready to be picked up you can retrieve it directly from them.
